Do you have open job openings for engineers? At Heart of Technology’s annual DAC party this year, the selected charity will honor an EDA industry legend and work to increase the engineering pool from the University level.
It’s the 1920’s meets the 1990s in a speakeasy mash up at DAC this year!
Join Heart of Technology and our sponsors at the swankiest party at DAC. We’ll be pouring the giggle water and serving the eats, Al Capone style. Entertainment will be provided by Vista Roads Band with special guests The JD Experience. This year, we are supporting The Gary Smith Memorial Scholarship Endowment at San Jose State University. It’s going to be the bees’ knees, man! So, get your rags together and join us on June 19th at the Speakeasy, voted Austin’s “best swanky” and “best place to party.”
How to Get a Ticket
All DAC attendees are welcome to the party at no charge, though we do ask that you donate what you can to The Gary Smith Memorial Scholarship Endowment.

VIP tickets gain you access to a special VIP area. Join sponsors and their guests, enjoy specialty cocktails and food served just for VIPs! To get into the VIP lounge, make a donation of $30.00 or more at the door.

Next Step – Bringing Honors Students into the Fold
The first stage of the Gary Smith Memorial Scholarship Endowment has focused on bringing non-traditional students into the engineering field. The next step is to bring more Honors students to San Jose State into the engineering program.
Party, Fun and More Engineers
We hope that you can join us at DAC. It’s always been and will continue to be a great party on Monday night. We hope that you will join us in honoring Gary Smith and supporting more students to join engineering and improve our job shortage.
The way forward
Thanks to everyone for your past and continued support. We have had tremendous response to this year’s request for the Gary Smith Memorial Scholarship Endowment. The scholarship is focused on providing funds for students that are coming out of the foster care system. Going forward we plan to continue to work with the San Jose State University Engineering School to help fund the honors students.
